I'm just glad to here there's something exciting coming up.  Like, you know, something interesting enough that SoSilver, a collector, is excited.   It makes me hope for something better than "Pinkie Pie #328" in the new line up.

I agree with this.  Even if the teaser is simply "something cool is coming up for G4, guys!"  Personally, any hinting at new ponies that could be exciting is enough to get me excited.

I hope it will be something relating to a new collectors set... would love to see one starring Chrysalis!

I was kinda hoping my previous "lets not harp on to complaining about the original poster" post would perhaps have been picked up upon a little more. Alas I am too subtle I guess. But how would that even work?  I mean, with monster high it makes sense because the parts all pop apart but with ponies those suckers only have the two pieces...  But, if they did do it then that means potentially also giving us actually articulated ponies.

Unless they maybe do the blanks like they did in G3?

I still say it's probably another Collector Set like they did last year.  Those things sold like hotcakes - and after the first time, I never saw Zecora or the Nightmare Moon set in stores again, plus I think the success of white talky Celestia is why we finally got the white brushy Celestia. 

If I could speculate on characters for another big set...
- Chrysalis (in the Celestia/Nightmare Moon mold)
- Minty
- Bon Bon
- Changeling minion pony
- Big Mac
- Minuette "Colgate" or Golden Harvest "Carrot Top"
- Octavia

Although they will probably include 2 more Mane 6, it's nice to dream! ^^

Remember though that the target audience for these toys are children, not bronies.  Plus there are a huge number of G4 collectors who are G1 collectors which that would appeal too.

It took many years before G3 collectors saw ponies aimed more at them then the target audience.  Then we got a whole line of the Art Ponies and eventually the re-issues.

oh a new collector set would be awesome!!! However, I hope if it's gonna be a TRU exclusive again that TRU get's it together on pre-orders and what not. last time they gave me a heart attack. I'd be more excited if it was a collector set at a different retailer. :p

DANG! I have an answer for this, because I saw something pony related at work today that made me roll my eyes in disappointment. (and it starts with C). But I refuse to talk about products before they hit the shelves. Oh well.
