Hey there ladies. im experienced hosting swaps.   i have been consumed in my time and efforts lately with my preggo rescue horse.  but i might be able to help you guys out by hosting now that things have settled down a bit.    on the kenner lps forum i introduced swaps to them and gave them a good template to use for guidelines.      if you like i can also post that to help a newbie hoster.     BUT be warned if you host a swap you must understand you are responsible if members flake out.   do not let anyone get left out or end up with no swap box.   

Here is an exact qoute from the kenner forum from a few years ago when i hosted and created the valentines day swap there.   you may use it as a template if you wish    

JUST AN EXAMPLE 

Ok here is the sign up thread for the Valentines day Swap (Please ONLY post if you are willing to commit to the guidelines!)

Guidlines:

Sign up deadline: January 15th

Shipping Deadline: February 1st

Minimum $ spent: $15.00
>Does NOT include shipping unless your partner is overseas
Maximum $ spent: $30.00

Theme: Valentines day

Color scheme: red, white and pink

Packages must be sent in a BOX (No bubble mailers!) and please make sure to save your shipping receipt for proof of shipping.

Swap gifts should be wrapped individually to add to the fun   preferabbly with holiday themed wrappings.

Must include a valentines day card (handmade preferred!) with your Forum Screen name written inside so your swap partner knows who the box came from.

-NO damaged items can be sent to your swap partner. this means nothing dirty or broken. if sending vintage toys or ponys there can be NO cut Hair or missing tails and NO nibbles chew marks or chunks missing out of the plastic.

Kiwi pmed me and said that she did get my PM, and is busy at the moment with a family function of some sort. She will let me know as soon as she can 

I set it up for 2 limits - one $25 and one $40 with a shipping date near the end of march..It's pretty similar to what Babylickidysplit posted. I've hosted swaps a few times in the past but nothing since 2007.
We shall have to wait for Kiwi's decision...

Just as a plug my sister Wingsinmoonlight specializes in selling 80s toys and she has quite a lot in her back stock so if anyone needs help tracking things down she or I might be able to help out.

Plus she'll be at the fair so depending on when this happens she could do some pick up orders.
