I don't understand what it is about bidders buying / winning items and then expecting to do a payment in a few weeks / months time. I get it alot, I am not listing on ebay because I like it. Generally sellers need money, otherwise they wouldn't bother.

Hi all! I just wanted to ask how things ended with this buyer. She has bought from me a pony using the thebeautyofmlp79 account, and well, ok, it's only been two days since she won the auction, but she didn't reply to my messages and now I read this... I just want to know what to expect.

Oh dear   that doesnt sound good - already no pay or communication?....     but perhaps she will be ok this time. I'm not sure how things went after the last round of NPB - maybe some of the others posting in this thread will let us know soon.   I think they probably just got their fees back though, I dont think she paid them in the end

Who has multiple ebay accounts?
Who is a member here as well and who had the same story with sick pets??

She had lotsof ponie son hold - a few sellers got their money other were waiting for month or she canceled transaction after not paying...

It was always the same story - sick pets etc..

I'm not sure - but when I read all this - I have a bad taste in my mouth and I have the feeling it could be the same person...

hmmm the plot thickens!  If it is the same person I don't really understand their motivation for paying for some items and not others?  And as far as NPB's go I totally sympathize as its happened to me as well.

She came from teh same country and she's telling the same stories...also she pays a fe wponies in time and other sellers she makes wait...

It look really like the same person...


Since I know she's playing games I blocked Switzerland in general for my ebay auctions - just to be save.

When it turns out that it is the same person - attention she also use her morhers name for shipping etc - I can also sent you a PM with the infos I have lovesbabysquirmy.

When it is the same person it's the 4th ebay ID I know from her - it can also be that she is using different emailaddys - but not sur eat the moment.

What I know she has one of the ebay accounts on her mothers name...


The person I'm talking about is blocked in my forum for swaps and the sales forums - because she did that to me and a kot of other people...

I just got a message from thebeautyofmlp79..

" I would like to apologize for my late reply, actually I wanted to enter a maximum bid of 135 dollars but did enter by mistake 350. Could I delete my purchase? I wanted to delete my bid, but that was not possible anymore because it was only 6t hours before auction end when I entered my bid. I am really sorry, please let me know if you can eventually sell the pony to the second high bidder."

The thing is... how can you mistake your bid when you have to confirm the bid before placing it? o.O I don't buy it... Really, people shouldn't buy if they can't pay. I'm not selling this pony because I want to... darn!! This things make me mad. And now, if I want to offer the pony to the other bidders I have to pay a commision!!!

I am trying to understand why a person would waste people's time doing this sort of thing.  I mean what do they have to gain? Are they hoping you will offer the purchase at a lower price with a sob story, or do you think its just plain malicious and messing with people for the fun of it?

Wow-  I would definitely add her names to the blocked bidder list.  The story about her pet is very pathetic - if she has a pet that needs vet bills, why is she spending so much on ponies?
