It's time for the pony new year resolutions!

-Keep on keeping up with G4 releases.
-Go to and have a super fun time at the MLP Fair.
-Keep my collection as organized as possible (this will probably include making a second step display shelf and bringing myself to let go of merch. I don't use, doubles/variations of ponies I end up with that I don't really need for my collection, and certain packaging I'm holding on to for no real reason.)

My mane pony resolution is to actually downsize my collection!  It's getting a bit ridiculous now and I'm constantly having to rearrange my bedroom to keep it in any kind of order.  I feel like I'm not enjoying them like I should be as they're mostly in big plastic storage boxes.  So I'm going to have a sort out and let go of some of the ones I accumulated when I went a bit pony-mental when I first got back into collecting, which will be G1s and G3s.  It's going to be hard but I need to do it - I might have a stall at UK Ponycon with them in October if I can last that long.

Goals are to hopefully somehow finish my TAF Baby set (still missing Baby Love Melody, Baby Milky Way and Baby Sugarberry!)  Shameless plug haha   There's also a few other things I want which I can't quite think of now, but it runs alongside my streamlining my collection, only getting the ponies I really want rather than just buying lots lots lots!

I'll also be selling on my baits, the ones that I know I won't have the time or the inclination to do anything with.

Finally, carry on collecting G4s   I'm not buying duplicates of the basic ponies, I'm only really concentrating on any new regular sized ones and the FS ones which are my favourite G4s.  I'm not into playsets (which is good for my space issue!)

I was waiting for someone to start a thread and if they did, Mods please merge. But I want to know everyone's pony resolutions for this new year. It can be about collecting, customizing, organizing, anything really.

Here are mine:
1. Complete my G2 want list. Only 16 left on it, but a lot of them, like the 2003's and Baby Petal, are very rare.
2. G1's: Dutch Diary for my adult Dutchie set completer, the Seaside Babies, maybe a couple of nice Argies or other Nirvanas
3. Keep up with the G4 brushables I want as they come out
4. Steadily work towards finishing my G3 want list. There's not too many, but there are some rare/espensive ones there too like Beach Belle and Caribbean Delight.
5. Finish the set of deflocks I've been working on for like 2 years now. I have recently actively worked on it again, so that's promising.
6. Take money away from buying ponies and buy some more shelves to actually display my ponies.
7. Clean and style my collection (not the whole thing in one year, but try to keep up).
8.Go back to the gym and eat healthier and lose 20lbs Wait! How did THAT get there? This thread is about ponies!!!

3. Thin out my fakies
4. Thin out my G3s
5. Clean up and style (really need to do some of these)
6. Shift the ponies in my 'bait box' and other ones I don't want to hold onto.

I did make a thread for pony resolutions this year, it got merged... But anywhoo, these are my 5 pony resolutions for this year:

1. Get Feathermay, Flitterheart, Plumsweet, Snowcatcher and Twinkleshine to complete my Wave 4 PP Series
2. Start a Fashion Style Pony Collection
3. Get a Fashion Style Applejack
4. Get the Wedding Castle set Check!
5. Participate in a Custom Swap (i'm in two gauging interest threads for swaps, so it's a possibility to be done)

Thanks! Mods, can we merge these together and then pull them back out in Mid-December of this year, like we did with the Nirvana one from last year? I thought it was SO cool to be able to see what my Nirvana resolutions were a year ago and how well I had kept to them? Pretty please?

Maybe get my life to the point where I can have an Ebay/Paypal account again?  Other than that, to find as many G1s as I can at affordable prices here in the local area!

 -Make sure I really want a pony before I buy it. Especially with the blind bags; if I let the collection get out of control, it won't be fun for me any more.
  My mom brought home about thirty bags of G3 ponies from a thrift store that have been VERY well loved, so I need to:
  -have a major spa day soon!
  -learn how to mail ponies and all that, then start a trade/sales thread.
 
 -I also need to finish deflocking Wind Whistler! She's annoyed at how many months she's gone without her tail.
