Two Customs I made for my parents...

So, I'm not very good at customs. I finally just broke down and bought an airbrush and sculpting tools for the clay that I use... lol, so... anyway... these are made without that, crappy paint probably, and just, kinda using my hands...

I just wanted to share the customs I've made for my parents.

Mom: The first is inspired by the Breast Cancer Awareness pony that I have no hopes of being able to buy ever, lol - so I made one for my mom. She has gold medals around her neck each with 5yr cancer-free marks - so she's wearing 5, 10 and 15, and there's a little baggie with the 20 in it for when she makes it to 20. (She's at 17yrs cancer free now.)

Dad: The second is just inspired by my dad in general, he's my superhero... so, it's not as awesome as I had hoped it was going to turn out, but... I still like it, lol...

So Cute. I love them. My mom is being treated for cancer right now, She asked for a Cancer pony but more as a joke pony....bald pony with wig etc (may be in bad taste but she thinks it hillarious so how could i say no) im also working on a very glamorus pony for her as a real gift. Congrats to your Mama i hope she keeps going strong, it gives me lots of hope.

First of all, my heart goes out to you and your family! I hope your mom kicks cancer's butt!! - and I can't even lie, I think the joke cancer pony, if I had done one like that during my mom's treatment, would've also brought a smile to her face, so I think that's a really cute idea, and very very sweet that you're making her a secondary custom as well. Best wishes to you!!

And thank you everyone else, my dad thought it was cute, of course, he's an old man, lol he doesn't understand ponies - he doesn't thwart my pony collecting, but he likes to ask (jokingly) what he did wrong raising me that led me down this path (collecting ponies, studying fish, running a small hobby farm - I'm a city girl by raising, lol!) ... but my mom cried... it was sweet and cute and sad, she put it in her box of "favorite things" - because they're still in the process of moving so she doesn't have a place for her yet.

Thanks for all the kind words on the ponies - I had so much fun making them but those G4s are so small compared to the G1s that I usually mess around with, heh... I'd love to find a display box for the two of them!
