Buying a Pullip?
« on: December 29, 2012, 04:13:40 PM »
I live in England and this year Id really like to buy a Pullip or Blythe but I think Im swaying more towards the Pullip. Where is the best place to buy one living in England?

Hopefully someone in the UK will be more helpful but I buy all my pullips online from pullipstyle and pullipdolldreams :)

Both ship internationally and while shipping is pricey - it's still A LOT cheaper than the only Australian pullip website!

I think PullipStyle might still be a good resource.  DollyMarket too, if you're ok with second-hand dolls.

PullipStyle is probably your best guess. A couple people on here are selling Pullips, and you could join a Pullip forum like Pullip Fiction or Dolly Market - since those places are specifically for Pullips, you'll find more sales.
I took a break from the Arena from a couple months due to school and other things in my life. But I'm back now!

Another recommendation for PullipStyle! Their doll prices are great, and the international shipping prices (to Canada at least) are fine too, as shipping costs go  You can check shipping before actually ordering by making an account and putting dolls in your cart.  :)

I find Pullipdolldreams have cheaper shipping if you are getting one doll only :)

I paid fourteen dollars to Canada, and shipping to Canada is usually pretty pricey, even though we're just on top. I was pretty impressed.

If you're okay with second-hands, Dolly Market is great! Some UK sellers even offer free shipping within UK ^.^

Mine was $35 Express Mail for two dolls (and one was Marianne in her HUGE box ) Sigh, shipping! If only Pullips were popular enough that there were Pullip boutiques around the world!

You need to meet the requirements before being able to see the B/S/T on dollymarket. I can't remember exactly what they were but its in the tips and rules thread.

You need an amount of good feedback (or like 15 quality posts), to make a feedback thread, and to have your country filled out. I think that's it?

But you have to PM someone to get access, and its only granted one day a week (Wednesday). So far I've been waiting a week to be granted access, and in one thread people have expressed a lot of recent-ish problems. Someone said in November they've been waiting for 4 months. So if you want to buy very soon I wouldn't count on it.
