WOW!! Hathorcat - that deflocked Twilight is GLORIOUS!!

They're all really beautiful.

If I may ask - what does deflocking do to value? I've never really understood it. It seems like deflocked ponies have their own catagory now in the collecting world.

Deflocks are a bit odd. When I have sold a few in the past they actually tend to sell for higher prices than their so soft equivalents. They are I suppose customised ponies in some ways and therefore a buyer is probably paying the premium as they are getting a pony customised in a way they would perhaps not be able to do themselves? At least thats the only reasoning I can put on the fact they run higher in price.

It should be noted that its only the ones which have no non so soft equivalents that run higher - so Angel and Skippity Doo and Lofty, etc - and not so much Buttons or Wind Whistler or Surprise.

The deflocks are absolutely gorgeous! It makes me almost want to deflock mine! Though I may do that with my SS Sundance. She is not white at all.

I have a few SS! None deflocked though.

Can I just say I love this pic?  Crumpet is one of my favorite so softs (I need to take another pic of mine) and that tea set is just perfect for her!  :lovey:
