Does anyone actually LIKE G1 BBE ponies?

I love baby Half Note in her tutu. I seem to never be able to buy her when she pops up, though.

I'm afraid I can't bear the poor ill-conceived little things.....they just look sinister to me!

But then, to be fair,  I'm *really* picky about what I collect. I only collect g1s and g3s to start with.

I tend to rule out SS, BBE, TE, NB, FT, NBT, BB, MB, BnG, DnP, DnW, SHS, anything with wings, pockets or secret compartments, anything twinkly/sparkly or anything with neon/clashing or swirling colours!!! Oh....and all accessories!!!

That narrows it down somewhat, so don't feel too badly for them - it's just my quirk!

I like BBE styled ponies, mostly because the baby ponies in the set tend to be my favourites. The eyes don't look bad to me either, so that helps too.

I only have BBE Heart Throb, and she is really cute! Her eye mechanism works nicely and isn't rusted. I like putting her to bed, she looks so peaceful and adorable.

Umm, creepy in a Steven King way.  But I love his stuff.  I just turned one into a zombie girl.  Most of the creep factor for me is the faces look either starved or vampirish.  That last bit I can't really explain.

I think I'm developing a soft spot for the little boogers... I've actually tracked down a couple I like, and I may wind up with the whole set one of these days. *sigh*  Oh, the perils of being a pony collector!

The thing that really annoys me is that Gusty and Ribbons manes always seem to stick up *grrr* they are like little punk non-conformists...Other than that I don't have a prob, I think the only one I'm missing is Cuddles.

I like them because they are creepy! They look like baby zombie ponies. I think my favorite of the ones I have is Baby Lofty.

I like BBE ponies. ;_; In my herd, they're all narcoleptic and fall asleep at the most inopportune times, like when in the bath or crossing the street. The poor things need constant supervision.

I love my BBE ponies, and I even redid the eyes on one of them, but they turned out a bit buggy..not as creepy, just looks super excited.  xD  Will have to post pics.  I want to practice on some other rusty BBEs so I can see if I can fix them up a tad and give them new eyes.  I love their symbols and colors, and to be honest, I even like the drink and wet ponies...but those holes wouldn't be as easy to fix, I don't think.  o.O

ETA:  Ok here is her pic with her pals...can't see it as well in this pic but her eyes are a bit buggy...

I think she's cute though!  xD

noooooooo!!!!! THis made me almost CRY! I adore BBE ponies! I am always willing to take them off people's hands in any condition!!

Alright, I just sat here and read this whole collection of posts!!! How on earth I missed it I have no idea but yes. I love BBEs. They are my all time favorites. I will take them from anyone in ANY condition!
