Got symbols all painted in today for my two ponies, and will be rehairing tomorrow as best I can, as many different ponies as I can.  Thank goodness g4s are generally quick.  /hopes I don't jinx myself

I'm good with either style of eyes   Your own personal touch would be cool if it's something you're comfortable with; that way if Hasbro ever does make that pony (haha funny right?) I'll have something totally unique

Gosh! I was out of town with no internet this week for a friend's wedding so I've missed alot! Here are my answers to some of the questions I saw.

do you have pets, and if yes, would your pet like a treat or toy as well?

Most of my pets don't really take treats (snakes, turtles, lizards, tarantula, fish, and a picky ferret, really what ferret doesn't do treats) my hedge hog is ok with meal worms as treats but those don't mail well!! My dog on the other hand eats everything and anything. He's a giant orange colored mutt! (maybe some pit, and lab and other stuff, he's a pound puppy rescued for lovin)
So I guess treats for my dog Jet are ok, the oly thing I've noticed he doesn't care for is the raw hide sheets, dunno why...

I would like to leave that to my partner, I'm not crazy about it but I do not despise it either, therefor, partner do what you like!

Partner, would you like the eyes to be toy accurate, or would you want them to have a personal touch?

This question makes me smile, since this is a custom swap I would loooove to see what my partner comes up with, weather its my partner doing everything in their power to make it exactly toy/show accurate, or weather they want to add a few things that they feel makes it better, either way as long as my partner tries their best I'll love it.

As far as my progress goes I have finished 100% one pony and almost done with my second. I will only be doing two ponies, however I will say I'm so so so proud of them.

I really like factory look eyes, but I also like the look of a lot original style eyes too.

I was trying to finish the pony last night and I would have done, except the hair I was going to use for the accent color turned out to be the wrong color. I about freaked out because I do NOT want to buy a whole hank of hair for like 12 plugs. Or wait for it. I did have the right color, but it was in a different kind of hair. Grrrr . . . Fortunately, I finally found in my stash the main color I needed in the same kind of hair as the accent color, so freak out averted. But I'm still annoyed that I didn't finish last night. And the other pony is just giving me fits all around.

And yet, this is still so enormously fun! Yay ponies!

pony was giving me a ton of trouble. not sure why, but the hair kept splitting.
never happened before. so the hair is not as thick as i want it to be. T.T

Alrighty, I'm back from my mom's house. Mr.TALE and I went down there to help with her garden and to celebrate our twin nephews' 2nd birthdays

My hair order should be on it's way now. I ordered it before I left, so it should be here relatively soon (hopefully) and I'm off today to ship off my end of a trade and scope out the Target and Toys "R" Us for some new ponies

I got a Fashion Style Pinkie Pie (non-gem eye) I found this weekend and she's now up with the other FS ponies. I also found a G3 Tink-a-Tink-a-Too plushie at a yard sale! she will be up on my trades section soon.

Woo!  My two ponies are done, just need to pop heads back on.  Got them all rehaired yesterday, will do the heads tonight, and send pictures either tonight or tomorrow.  =]

The body is painted and has been left to dry overnight. Now to apply the final coat of paint and get started on the head. Still waiting for my hair to be delivered.

All I have left is hairing and reassembly. One of them has been painted so thoroughly that I can't even see the hair holes, so that will be interesting. The next time I get a chance to work on them I should at least finish one. The one that's going well, I'm pleased with, the other one, I'm a battle of wills with, and it is mocking me.
