Help ID this nativity set?
« on: December 15, 2012, 02:31:00 PM »
I bought this set at a thrift shop, and didn't realize until after the fact that the joseph figure is missing. :(  I've grown fond of it, and I would like to replace the missing figure. But I have no idea who made the set, or how to go about searching. They are not marked or stamped in any way. They kind of look like the 'fisher price little people' set, and are about the same size.  About an inch and a half tall.  Anybody a nativity expert?

I found this on a blog (you can see the fugitive Joseph in it, plus some sheep):

The blogger(s) refer to it as their Cabbage Patch nativity, but so far, I've not found it elsewhere.  Sorry.  But maybe it can help you in your search! ^.^

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

Most likely it was made for children but there are literally hundreds made for kids every year. Without some kind of mark that will be like trying to find a needle in a haystack.  Its really cute.
