Has anyone else ever had a problem with a hard scalp, though? Hers is so unyielding I'm scared it might crack if I'm not careful

Another notice for Australian collectors...
What boggles my mind is that it's CHRISTMAS EVE. Why would they start putting new stock on the shelves on Christmas Eve? It should have been there earlier for people to buy as gifts. Now all the stock will sit there for all of January as people recover from the festive season. *bangs head against wall*

Two words:  GIFT CARDS!  What are all the people who have gift cards going to come into the stores and buy?  :-p

...suddenly that makes a lot more sense.

Anyway I got a good haul for Christmas this year - the school playset, Venus, GR Frankie and GR Cleo. I had a bit of a panic with the school set when one of the doors wouldn't go on properly, after a wrestle it co-operated though.
Cleo is so pretty! Frankie too. Frankie needs a wash though, they used so much styling gel it left marks on her face, gross. Kinda sad they had to make her hair rather two-dimensional in style to get it upright and poofy too. I still love her metallic glory
I couldn't stop stroking Venus' hair, dat kanekalon is so soft.

Also I got an update about the CAMs in Australia... retail for a two-set is *drumroll*... $39. I think I'll just be buying these from Amazon and the like.

So cheerful! I didn't get ponies or MH as I expected, but mum bought me a custom dress for Lexi which is beautiful (I know about it, I bought it and she paid), and it is stunning! Merry christmas to everyone, and a huge thank you to members in the MH section who are always cheerful, lovely to talk to, and to the many I have had great trades with this year!

Again about the CAM lab. Does anyone know if you can "fuse" parts of the faces? So for example, I like the eyes of one sticker but the mouth of another?

Heheh, I know I've got a present under the tree that is MH. But my fiancee says it's one I've already got (he felt bad too that he didn't look at my collection until after). I told him to not fret! If she's a repeat, I'll just customize her into something new!

Mum sent me GR Frankie. I was so surprised! I really did not expect her to buy me toys for Christmas. I already have her, as my first one was a birthday gift from my husband. Teehee! So I might just hang on to her until I find a doll I want somewhere and then I'll exchange her.

Hopefully I manage to find some Scaris at Target. >.< Or DC dolls. Or something!

I feel your pain. ;-; I even tried to apply without then mechanism and just apply one at a time and it came out worse. I think I'm just going to find a sealant and then paint my own face.  This is not what I had in mind when I made the suggestion to Mattel. I'm sure the application is off center due to the fact that instead of coming straight down onto the face it comes in at an angle - that angle probably makes all the difference. I'll have to play more to figure it out, I just got frustrated with it last night.

I got Killer Style Operetta from my boyfriend's parents I haven't paid too much attention to this doll before but now that I've seen her in person, I absolutely adore her! My boyfriend was posing her and setting her down on different things, it was really cute She's the first doll he's ever even touched so she's his favorite.

Yes, so I got Venus, the Garboyle, the boy vamp, Smet and the cat. I may see if I can get Scaris Rochelle in a couple days.
