With G3 McPonies, getting their head off is a breeze compared to a full-size G3. All you have to do is run it under some hot water, and the head usually pops right off. And getting the hair out of the head is easy, too, since there's no hard glue holding the hair in.

PandaBerry your little chicken one for Okami is so adorable. And i like the Christmas themed one, more inspiration!

I actually pried a head off one of a rainbow dash last night, using hot water would probabaly have been faster. I used a razor knife to cut the glue then pulled off the head.

Looks like i won't be able to get any hair before christmas so i'll probably resort to yarn and other fibers.

I'm thinking of doing a realistic style horse, making it look like it's set to pull a sleigh. I actually have a hank of camel hair that would be great for horse hair!

awww thanks, when I see these things I really want to pick up customizing, but I guess I have to wait a bit longer till my study is over....
