Ah, that does explain it. ANTM helped me up my post count, but otherwise I haven't been posting in other forums. So that's slowed me down quite a bit.

What's sort of sad, is that there are a few of the top posters who aren't even on the boards any more.  I can't imagine being so active and then just leaving.    I miss a lot of those names.

I'm... Actually not surprised by those top ones. If they were other people, I would have been surprised, but since it's mostly the admin ponies... Yeah. I can only hope to get that many. I think I'll have to post a heckuve lot more than I do just to catch up to you, much less them.

I only had a couple thousand posts when I became a moderator... and this April I will have been a mod for 3 years.  So I went from 2k in my first year to almost 10k a year.  Funny how that works!

lol, I'm not sure that's a secret.    We just end up posting a lot more when we have to keep an eye on everything.

I don't think we have immediate plans for open applications right now.

Almost!  Crazy, isn't it?  I joined in April 2009 and became a mod in April 2010, right after my 1-year Arenaversary.  This April will be 3 years.  Doesn't feel like that long at all!

Time does fly!  I still can't believe I've been an active member here for 7 1/2 years.  (I've been a member for 8 1/2 years, but  I basically lurked that first year).
