First of all, I do not appreciate the actions of people here. There are unpleasant people everywhere, and you have to ignore them. Calling these new fans "bad" just because of where they came from is bad. They're "worse" than you because they came from a very different section of the Internet? Please, we all genuinely like ponies. Let me just say that the arguments here are very similar to ones in brony communities, right down to derails with cute pictures.

I'm sorry about the way you were treated by bronies, but I would appreciate if you didn't paint every fan that way. We're not a hivemind.
