I'm right handed but my dad is a left handed. For years I used his computer which was set up for his left handedness... Then I went to school and all the computers were right moused and I couldn't work them. x.x I'd try to pull the mouse over to the left side but they were always zip tied so people couldn't steal them.

I think it was about 8th grade that I finally accepted my fate and started using my right hand as my mouse hand.

Ambidextrous, thanks to a broken arm when I was 6.  I was a lefty before that, but oddly enough I favor writing with my left hand while drawing with my right.

Interestingly, all women in my family are righties except me, while all men in my family except for one are lefties.  I'm finding out my two and a half year old favors his left too.

However my left hand is very capable of: throwing a frisbee wicked fast and straight, snapping, steering a car very steady (right hand finds those things too complex-lol).

I'm left-handed, though like SDS I use scissors with my right hand.

Not sure if this applies to all anti-lefty stigma around the world, but one origin for it is that the left hand was (and still is, in some places) traditionally the one used to *ahem* clean yourself prior to the existence to (& in the absence of) toilets and TP. So it would be a very bad idea to use that hand to do other things, such as eating or using tools.

Well, i chose Ambidextrous because even though I write with my right hand, I do most other things with my left. For example, turns out I am playing hockey like a leftie (though in archery I'm a rightie).

I think that my case was similar to those some of you write here, that I was initially a leftie but as I learned to write in school, they put the pencil in my right hand and there you go My handwriting is atrocious though so I can't even rightfully claim that I can write properly with my right hand either ^^

I write left, when I do Muay Thai I throw right (can do left, but that only happens I need to run drills with a lefty), when I do Eskrima I'm a southpaw, when I play defence in hockey I shoot right, and when I play net I glove right and hold the stick in my left. I still feel like I'm right hand dominant, so I wouldn't call myself ambidextrous.

I write/draw, eat, and hold a guitar with my left hand, though I instinctually do pretty much everything else with my right. I can write with my right hand, though it takes a bit more effort. I'm also pretty dexterous with my feet, lol.

I'm a righty, but my oldest sister and my brother are lefties. I do most things with my right hand but I've learned how to eat with my left for when I'm on the computer/writing.

Well, I'm pretty much balanced ambidexterous by situation. Since when i use regular stationary, touch screens and tablets (of both kinds), and remote controls (including the Wiimote), I'm left handed. When I use a computer mouse, joystick or gamepad (except the Wiimote mentioned above), I'm right handed.

Comes from shattering my right hand when I was young, learned to use my left.
Now I can use both

Me and hubby are lefty - the only ones in both our families. Our four year old is VERY left handed, has been since he was tiny. We shall have to see what our six month old turns out to be.
