Transparent G4 ponies: let's discuss!

Hi everyone:)

After many months after they've been discovered there is still no sign of their release, so i was wondering what do you think about it: prototypes or future releases?

And, i have Fluttershy (wich is more pearly) and Pinkie Pie (wich is covered in glitters), but i am pretty sure all the mane six have been seen:)

I still assume they will be released. I mean, they can't keep on releasing the same main six over and over with different accessories, right? Right??
So yeah, i still got hope we will be seeing these.

I think they will most definitely come out as a future release.

Maybe they will be in a 6-pack plus shiny Cadance or something to replace the Gala set. That'd be pretty cool I think.

I'm hoping... just like with Minty. But I hate to say it, it feels a little unlikely since they released the mane six with the crystal eyes but not translucent. On the other hand, with the crystal ponies in the first episode of the new season, that gives me more hope. I really want these to be released...

I hope so! I love transparent ponies so much! I hope it's not like the case with Minty ( and I still hold out hope for her, some day!) but we might be looking at that situation

I'm leaning towards the thought that they won't be released and are just experimental prototypes because:

1. There are differences between the mane six (like the pearlyness vs glitteriness that SoSilver mentioned). This seems to indicate that they were experimental. And no standard versions with all mane 6 alike have appeared, so they never finalized a design (or it just hasn't been leaked yet). 

2. FS has the older dark-pink hair and RD has bangs. This indicates to me that they were from the time when these versions were still being made. And if they were going to be mass produced they probably would have been by now...

This aside, I really do HOPE that they will be released. I own a Fluttershy and absolutely love her. I'm sooo jealous about your PP, SoSilver! And I really liked the other ones too, especially Rarity.

Even if they DO eventually release translucent brushables, these few currently in existence will still probably remain unique.

I'm holding out hope they will be released, same with Minty. A lot of people are excited about them. Hasbro would be stupid not to.

I don't think there is enough reason to not think that they won't be released yet. I think people see things on taobao and get way too excited, and expect for them to be on the shelves sooner rather than later. I DO think that what the OP owns is different prototypes for them to see what kind of finishing they liked best.

How long have we seen the color/design your own ponies or even crystal motion-- and yet we haven't really seen them in stores yet (although they are finally in a brochure). ?
And we have known about the translucent (not glitter) blind bags for awhile now, but they aren't really included in any brochure either.
We haven't gotten all of the crystal empire stuff yet in stores, and probably won't for the rest of the season. So I really think we won't see anything "new" hit shelves until the beginning of next year anyway.
*shrug*
I would like to think there is still a possibility they will be released.

I need Applejack like DancingPhoenix needs Pinkie Pie! (or like a fish needs water, lol)

I really hope these get released! Waiting is the hard part  Maybe we should make a "We Want Transparent G4's" facebook page like the "We Want Minty" page as encouragement   

I am looking forward to Fluttershy like banditpony is looking forward to Applejack. *need it*
