I love these videos.  Kids need a little healthy bubble-bursting every now and again.  :lmao:

My parents ALWAYS make this kind of jokes with presents, birthday or holiday! And me and my little brother NEVER had the nerve to scream like a pig like the boy in the clips.... If a kid gets such an outrage tantrum about a present...my gosh...how about he gets 16/18 years old and want a car from his parents and they gave him the wrong one....does he shot them???

We got stones...potatoes...old socks with holes in them...carrots...or things we already had where wrapped up and put between the real presents! And we always laughed or butt's off with these jokes! :-)

Here's the candy ones:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YQpbzQ6gzs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOlpdd7y8MI
lol the beginning of the 2nd video, I was like: "You're crying, but you've got a whole $5 in your hand, you can buy more candy!!"

At least some of those kids were fine with it, a little upset, but fine with it, like the end of the 2nd video.

Ma favorite moment:
Mom: "Sorry Sierra, we're eating all your candy"
Sierra: *Starts hopping around* That's ok.  *Still hopping around*

This one was pretty funny too. lol XD

Oh thank goodness!  My family is not the only one.  We always got some very odd things.  We still hold this tradition by wrapping up things we have found.  Last year we gave my mom eels from the grocery (which all of us will eat except her) and my sister got seed pods I found in the woods.  I can't remember what my dad got or I got.

But even as kids, no we did not have tantrums.  With the exception of when I was about 5 years old and was given a toy that was super scary and I cried because it frightened me.

The halloween candy ones really are the best. Is it the one from last year?
The one boy is soooo cute who is like "you sneaky mom!!" lol

I LOOOOVE the two little boys at the end of the first Halloween one.
The older one seems really smart and logical for his age, and the younger one is adorable. XD

The little girl in the car saying "Well, but maybe next year we can SHARE my candy" That is too cute! Or the little boy saying "I just want you to be happy, mom"

I love those parts too!!

On another note. I'd be one of those adults that goes crazy if my TV got unplugged while I was watching the Pats play.

I don't think I'd ever do that kinda stuff to my kids but I love some of the kids reactions, the ones that are happy to get potato or to let their mom eat their candy... those kids are so awesome!

I liked the boy with the potato who was grinning and showing it off while his older brother complained about the letters get got instead of a real game system.

LMAO!  I guess it must be a really common boy reaction to throw dolls across the room, because when my brother was 5 or 6 my dad did that to him.  I don't remember what his real #1 major present was that year, but Dad wrapped up a fakie Barbie doll for him and gave that to him first and he threw it across the room, lol!  Yes, I probably would do this my kids, it's pretty funny, lol!
