BREYER... PC and Identification available?
« on: November 15, 2012, 12:48:04 PM »
I do not collect Breyer horse, but have a couple that I want to post on eBay.

However... I know Nothing about these and very little about horse in general (love them, know little).
Can anyone help me describe these and know their value?

Thanks!!!

The first is about 4 inches tall and 6 inches long. The second is more like 9 inches long by 7 inches tall.

They both are classic horses. That is the size they are classified with Breyer.

The top one is the Rojo mold. It came with the Colorful Gift Set, and made in 2006-2008. Its dun in color.

The second horse is the Duchess mold. She came with the Appaloosa Mare and Dun Foal set. She is dun blanket in color. And its still be made starting 2005-current.

As far as value. I would check on ebay and go from there. The market for classics is not to good right now. I hope that I was able to help you out some.

Thanks to both of you gals!

It's a little Greek to me, but now that you've given me some terminology I know where to start.
I really appreciate it!

The first looks pretty scratched up in the picture. I wouldn't expect more than $3-5 for that one and if the other one is not scratched up maybe $8 max. People who are serious about Breyer collecting can be extremely picky on condition.

Unless they are wanting to find a body to cm or take parts from. Good luck on selling them.
