Hare's got an itch!

This custom was a bit spontaneous - Instead of working on commissions I had the urge to paint a hare on a pony. The hare is based on a sculpture by Beth Cavener. (For anyone googling her work, a warning, she does very beautiful animal sculptures, but some may have disturbing or adult themes)

The pony was rehaired with fake hair from a clothes shop. I love the blending and gradient in it, but I broke three needles in the process so I won't be using it again  :blink:

I'm going to list the pony for sale in the custom sales section, but I'm so proud of the painting that I wanted to show her off here too \o/
