Oh my!  Those pics are so beautiful.  Your girls are really cute.

I found that some liv clothes fit, but they are often loose.

I think someone mentioned this, but Only Hearts Club clothes can often fit.  Jean shorts take a little tugging up over the hips but fit great once around the waist  (isn't that always the story with jeans). Pullips have longer limbs and a longer waist so I found they look best in short sleeved shirts, shorts and longer dresses/skirts.  They don't fit the body suits or tights at all. Boo.

^This skirt is just above the knees on an Only Hearts Doll.  Short skirts on them are too short for a pullip.

Spoiler

I kind of rushed through these, changing clothes before all the sunlight was gone... so not really the best posing going on here.  But maybe it will give you some ideas?

^ some make more sense than others :P

I really love that many of the shoes fit... but look better with socks.  I did try a pair of black riding boots but they were too stiff to push her feet into without breaking them.

Non-laces.  But I do like how they made them look scuffed.

Rhini, I'll say it again, your Dahlia is such a darling! Especially with the yukata~  ^.^

Here is my first Pullip, Yukiko. She's awaiting her outfit, and will get it by November. Fingers crossed it will be lovely on her :)

I'm still on the fence about getting another Pullip. I have a Dal that was a gift, and I bought Tiger Lily Byul because I adore tan skin dolls. Within moments of unboxing Byul her arm broke, at the rotating upper arm joint. I had to glue it back together :(
I've heard that Pullips are just really fragile but is that true? I know there are several different body versions, and I think you can put a Pullip head on an Obitsu body (right?). Is one body tougher than the others? I like to pose, redress, and photograph my dolls quite a bit so I'm not sure if Pullip is right for me. But she's so pretty, arrrg! I really love this one: http://www.pullipstyle.com/pullipstyle/product_info.php?cPath=21_83&products_id=863
But I'm afraid I'll break her :/

Oh, by the way, so many lovely pics! This thread is what makes me reconsider over & over!

Pullip bodies are somewhat fragile, yes, but not always. I've never had issues with my pullip bodies, but did have problems with my taeyang *shrug* I have moved one of my girls over to an obitsu body, but mostly just for body proportion reasons for that particular character. Really the primary reason people put their pullip heads on obitsu bodies is for posability and aesthetics - many owners are quite happy with the original bodies and never have issues. But if you do have problems, obitsu bodies are a nice affordable alternative :)

When I owned Pullips all my girls where rebodied. I can't stand the stock body. Wrist and ankle break was the problems most people see. I never had either on my girls but that is because as soon as I got them they had a obitus body waiting for them.

Some like them others don't. Its just a personal preference.

None of my dolls have ever broken, and I've done quite a lot to them when photographing :) The exception was hello kitty, who is notorious for wrist breaks. Both hers were broken in the box though, they didn't break when I was doing anything to her. Some of the dolls are prone to certain problems.

I switch all of my Pullip gang to obitsu bodies but mostly just for that extra articulation. I've not had too much issue with their original type 4 bodies apart from the articulation not being enough for me and I prefer the more mature proportions of an obitsu. Other than that I think type 4's are fine :) I've not had any of mine break either.

So, I have a question to all you Pullip lovers out there!

Is it possible to find a cheap-o bait head? I wanted to get one for reference. Is ebay a good place to look for that? And is there a price I should keep in mind.

<3 Thank you.
