I'm stuck at Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell. I would have scootaloo by now if the people who've added me/I've added would show up in my friends list. Dang it GameLoft, get your marbles together!!

I don't think he actually "consumes" the 10, I think you just have to get 10 more than you currently have.

Spike doesn't eat the gems you still get to keep them. Although I wouldn't have put it past Gameloft to have him actually eat them and have you lose them ^_^.

Argh. I was on the screen to play the balloon pop game, and I accidentally tapped the screen to play the version that costs gems instead of the free version. I panicked and closed out the whole game, hoping it hadn't confirmed my "purchase." When I went back, I was missing the 25 gems anyway, AND I didn't even get to play the game.  I am quite displeased with this.

Accidentally hit "Skip" on a shop restock and lost 2 gems! I always try to be careful when I'm tapping things too.

My game is only showing 8 friends right now. It's been that way for a while. However, my "Invite" section shows a lot more people? I don't get it.

Has anyone figured out for certain if particular colors of parasprites correspond to particular shards? I'd be more inclined to clear them out if I knew they'd just eat up shards for monuments I've already activated (Pinkie Pie, Rarity) rather than rare ones, like for Twilight Sparkle or Fluttershy. It's probably something obvious, but since I'm never actively trying to clear parasprites (that stupid gem sale has made me accidentally clear a few trying to get it off of my screen!) I'm never paying attention before it happens.

I'm sorry I hadn't been sending out gifts for yesterday and today, I was on vacation and I didn't have a good internet connection at that time. Believe me, I can't even get the friends list to load half of the time over my cellphone tethered line. Gift sending will resume tomorrow morning.

If you do not have enough shards of a particular type, the game will display a chart of what color parasprites correspond to which element shards. Unfortunately, I don't have a screenshot of that chart handy

Has anybody tried earning gems by downloading apps? I tried this last night. There was a Hello Kitty game on the list that looked good. If I downloaded the app and played the game to level 4 I got two gems. It didn't take long to get to level four either.

Hmmm, interesting. But we'll, no. No such feature was advertised on the game, so I didn't know about it.

It's on the page where you buy gems with real money. There's a green box on the left that says "Get Free Gems!" Tap on it and it brings up a list of apps you can download, what you have to do with the app to earn the gems and how many gems you get for that app. Example: Sign up for Zoosk! and you get 14 gems. (That one is NOT going to happen!!!)
