Maple valley is close to Renton, yes. I used to live in Fairwood and I remember it wasn't too far of a drive. I'm east now, but I don't think the trek will be too bad!

Galactica, can you or someone call about the library? We've decided to do a family weekend trip up to Seattle and we'll be booking a hotel room for the meet weekend. My hubby and boys will be going to the Museum of Flight and some other stuff while I am at the pony meet all day. Yay! This means I won't have to drive at 6am

Okay-  apparently they have a class up until 1:30 on the 26th, and another class at an even more inconvenient time on the 19th-  so here is what I booked based on availability:

Date(s): Saturday, July 26, 2014
Time: 1:45 PM to 4:30 PM
Room: Meeting Room
Library: Maple Valley Library

(Approval for our event is pending)

Hopefully that isn't too late of a start time for people?  If it is than we will need to pick another day or location-  but I think it could work.

OH and by the way if anyone wants any of the FUNKO ponies- (including AJ or Big Macintosh) let me know and I'll bring them for you.  Happy to sell them for $10 each - WAY less than you can get them for in the store! (To give you some perspective, AJ and Big Macintosh are $18.50 at Hot Topic ($14.80 on sale))

I'm really excited, I really badly want tips on how to customize. I learn by watching so I'm hoping i can pick up some skills. I'll also have my leftover everfree stock with me for sale and trade! I'm looking for g4 and g1 ponies!

I am so happy you like him! I am hoping to sell him soon, so I may not have him then Need to raise $$ But I can bring Ace again. I also want to bring my Strawberry Peacock pony which I will seriously trade for anything. I wonder if Hannaliten would let me bring my HP swap pony. Possibly the best pony I've ever done. Would you snag a Big Mac for me, please? I hate going to the mall. So. Much.

Oh that's a great idea! I'll meet for lunch somewhere!  I don't know the area though so will have to wait for someone else to provide a suggestion   (also please let me know when you sell your pony ?)

It looks like there is a park nearby, though I haven't been there. The mud bay I go to sometimes is over in the area, so there are also a couple restaurants.
I'm going to bring a cake! A pony cake! Maybe two!!
Picnic would be fun. I will be off that day, so just let me know where and I'll be there with ponies!

EDIT: Since the last 2 years we did a g4 pony and a g1 pony mascot, we are doing a g2 mascot this year. I am going to use PaintedHooves entry for a mascot and then so on until everyone gets their pony represented, cycling through the gens Hope that's okay.

Also, having scrolled through the old posts I was just thinking how awesome you all are and how lucky I am to live in the NW You all rock!

I am (Oregon City) but it's with my family for a vacation. There are quite a few Oregonians on here but many of them live in Southern OR and won't be making the drive.
