No ponies till New Years

I simply cannot afford any ponies for a long time. At least, not until my job offers me a full-time position. The next ponies I get will be from the Advent Calendar Swap.

Argh!! I *really* should join you ponies - I've been promising myself to be on a pony-diet for ... about a fortnight now and have totally blown it!    And I've spent a motza on ebay too! And I've got payment plans happening here! Plus I've made offers on ponies too! Do I really need to go on! 

Buuut to New Years *may* be a touch too long for me - I NEED ponies... I know this will be good for me, but I'm conflicted to totally jump on board.

I’m in! I’m a recent pony convert who discovered ebay last month… there was much splurging. It needs to stop (for a while, at least)

Yeah ok...the time has come for me to check myself into this.Too many auctions etc. and impending bills have got me stressed about the ponies so I'm gonna try this.

I'd never ever be able to do this... but I really need to do something. So I'm going to compromise! Until January 1st, only buy ponies in person. No ebay, no gumtree, no arena, no tp. Only markets and stores (because you just know those ponies are going to be at rock bottom prices on boxing day, and I reeeally need starswirl!) And because I've had the best luck at the markets lately, and if someone else starts getting ponies from there, I'll lose my territory!

For xmas I've already decided my present to myself will be either all four of summer's books, or a $200 browband DIY order (to qualify for free shipping, it's soooo expensive otherwise). Now browband stuff will keep me (extremely) busy and might make me money, but I've wanted those books for like forever, cos I'm sure half my internet browsing consists of pony pictures! So it's a big one for me... do MLP reference books count in the pony drought? I hope not...

I need to join this  big bills, combined with getting married in a month and Xmas presents to buy = no ponies. This will be such a challenge for me hopefully I can stick to it because I really have to save some money and all the ponies I want are expensive ones.

I can have ponies for Christmas presents though, can't I?

I'm definitely joining this!  I have a custom swap to finish up this month and after that it'll be nothing more till New Years.  I'm a new collector, but I can't tame my grabby hands when I see ponies!  I just picked up FS Fluttershy and Rarity yesterday, so I'll content myself with playing with their hair

Guys, I broke. It only took me 10 days  Today, I bought a shine bright Fluttershy and a ride along Fluttershy for the Fluttershy collection...and I was planning to pick up one of those new Crystal Empire Fluttershys with the tea set at Walmart. It comes with a tea set! I love tea    Maybe next year...

I don't think I have a choice at this point, there are no G4 ponies for me to buy unless I pre-order some or ask for pre-orders for Christmas, or if I get lucky and find FS Rarity or anything else from the Crystal Empire wave. I'm still waiting for wave 5 minis to ship out from BBTS.

Well I didn't break my rules, because I got them in person, but I got 4 new G4's today.. and my MIL came to visit with an armful of g3's and g4's she got from thrifting... so I'm staying away from online sales... and still getting ponies. So far so good, but I really must remove that ebay app from my phone...
