I don't particularly like the song or the artist, but I have always thought Billy Joel's 'You May Be Right' was my theme song

"You may be right, I may be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic you're lookin' for..."

I wish it was 'Defying Gravity' from Wicked.

I don't think I could pick one song to represent my whole life, but I have one in mind for the current "chapter" of my life, if you will.

"As For Me and My House", by John Waller. I really feel like the current culture is drawing a line in the sand and attempting to force certain people to cross it, or else face painful consequences.

So it comes down to either choosing to obey the culture (or at least appease it so it will "like" me), or to serve a higher power even at a personal cost. I choose the latter. I draw my own line in the sand and faithfully stand there no matter what lions I may get fed to.

The Warrior Is A Child by Twila Paris. I can really relate to that one. Also Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda by Petra. It's about learning and moving on from your mistakes and not dwelling on what ifs.

I'm gonna have to listen to that one. I enjoy Twila Paris, but I haven't heard all of her songs. :)

I've been thinking about this lately, actually! One of the songs I can really relate to is 'Miniature Disasters' by KT Tunstall.

"Miniature disasters and minor catastrophes bring me to my knees; well I must be my own master or a miniature disaster will be, it will be the death of me."
