10 Customs in 30 Days - Challenge has begun!

i have still yet to post ANY new ponies this month. BUT i have 1 done, 6 almost done, and i've made 3 hats. i will be cranking them out these next few days

Holy snot!  Didn't think I'd be getting this close, but I currently have two that are waiting on their sealant to finish drying before their reharis, and one more that should have its painting all wrapped up just before bed time!  That will leave me with just one more to finish, if I can get manes popped into these little suckers in time!

It seems that my four last ponies will be all rehairs only

Okay.  I have six completed customs for the month (only have the first three up because I haven't had a chance to get pics of the other three!).  I have three that are completely painted with their tails rooted in and the last bits of triple thick drying on their eyes.  That puts me at 9.  I have two others that have their painting in progress, one is about half an hour until she's finished.  I'm *hoping* to have a rehairing extravaganza tomorrow so I can get all these suckers taken care of!  Let's just hope my hands hold out for all of this!

argh- I now have 15 ponies that only need hair and still no sign of that order! I am not a happy camper- I want to get these guys finished and moving out the door. I did manage to finish a few more with hair scraps I had but none of the really important commissions~

I think I'm going to make it!!  One more rehair and then I've finished 10 this month!  I couldn't get pics of the ones that haven't had shoots today because it was crazy windy outside, but hopefully tomorrow will be calm enough for a photo shoot!

Sigh, so close. All ponies have been rehaired and now I'm just waiting for the glue to dry.

I cut it pretty close, but I did it!  YAY!  I'll try to get pics taken tomorrow so I can start showing them off.  In the mean time, this is who I completed:

1. Part of my "Beloved Horses" set - Star, my Arabian gelding
2. "Beloved Horses" - Crystal, my Friesian cross mare
3. "Beloved Horses" - Bill, my late Quarter Horse gelding
4. Sunshine - a revisit form one of my earliest customs
5. Moonshine - same as above, only his counterpart
6. My husband's surprise birthday pony
7. Jingle Belle, whom I've had the concept for since I began making customs
8. Snowball (name might change) the penguin pony
9. "Beloved Horses" - Jessamine, Canadian mare owned by a friend of mine
10. "Beloved Horses" - Dandie, grulla Canadian/QH mare owned by that same friend (and grullas are a PAIN to paint!)

i've got 7 headless ponies (no glue)
6 scrunchies, and 2 hats. i think thats pretty good. i will get pics some time today

I fail. I had too  much going this month, I think. On the plus side, I did get two ponies done - just not the ones on my list!

I did get 90% of the claywork I needed done, though. And this morning realized I need to start over on the one, because I messed up how I wanted the corset done! *trips* D'oh!

The next time I do this challenge, I should make sure I don't have any conventions going for it! Spent too much time on convention prep and not enough time being able to make ponies.
