Peru Moonstone
« on: October 30, 2012, 11:36:55 AM »
Hi!   I am snowed in today but thats ok because I just won that Peru Moonstone who was on ebay!  Anyone see her?  She is the one covered in dreadful pink highlighter!     I'm still excited though!  I think she will sunfade and look awesome!  Not sure about the price I paid ($56)  but I think she deserves a chance!  I had a baby Lemondrop practically colored with pink highlighter and she sunfaded nicely.  Anyone ever sunfade a Peru pony and had success?  Too bad Ill have to wait til spring!   :(

Congrats on your new pony! I'm not sure how well they sunfade either, having never done it myself, but I think it's always worth a try! :)

Congrats! I was eyeing her up as well for my (small) Moonstone army, but she was above what I can afford right now, so I'm glad she's found a great home ^_^

Oh, Peru Moonstone is lovely, I really like that pose. I didn't see the auction and have never tried sunfading a Peru pony but I would guess if it's just pink highlighter it should work. Wishing you best of luck (once the sun comes back out), congrat's on your new pony!

I was the other Bidder on that pony, but decided not to push the price because I was really not sure she would sunfade out.  She has a lot of pink on her, especially the front leg.  Some child had a good time with that one  LOL
Good luck

I watched her and almost bid, Major congrats!! You might try goo gone or a grafitti remover first on a soft cloth, it looked like it might be on the surface a possibly come off with one of those, or atleast some maybe. Can't help on sunfading, never has worked for me, and all did was fade hair even wrapped up LOL
