Oh yeah!  I was going to post about this but I forgot to.

Apparently this is the artist who has made a name for himself filling watermelons and pumpkins and household objects with gelatin and then filming the effects in slow-motion when they are shot with a high-powered projectile (like a bullet).   This is clearly his newest project, doing the same with toys.

While part of me goes, "NOOOOOOO!", most of my brain realizes that he's not destroying TAF babies or really rare ponies.  Many of the G3's and G3.5's weren't popular in the first place and the G1s are fairly common. 

Yeah, I've seen this person's galleries before, and they are REALLY neat.  There is one of a waterballoon in the exact moment where it breaks, but the water is still holding it's shape.  I really like the crayon shot!

That looks like fun.  I wish there were more!

I actually thought the photos were kind of neat. I guess I feel a slight twinge of regret for the ponies (and the pikachu) but it's pretty cool.

Seems wasteful to me.  A child somewhere could be enjoying those.

Those photos are amazing. I'm sure that the toys *could* be being played with by someone, or kept on a shelf or whatever, but also they could've been thrown in the bin. At least this way they are a lasting and interesting imagine, imo.
