G2 Prototypes and Oddities

I was just wondering....we've seen G1 prototypes and factory errors as well as G3 ones and G4 ones (thanks to sites like Tao Bao); but what about G2?

Does anyone have or have any images or information on any G2 prototypes, factory errors or oddities?

Funny thing, I was just combing through My Little Wiki checking out some G2s and ran into a couple oddities while there. There isn't nearly as much info on prototypes and errors when it comes to G2s as there are on G1s, maybe it isn't as well documented?

The two closest things to a taboao-esque error I've seen so far is this Golden Glow who was packaged with the wrong wings: http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Golden_Glow#Factory_Mix-Up_Golden_Glow and this mysterious Blue Pearl variant: http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Blue_Pearl#Blue_Haired_Ivy I saw a few old forum threads on G2 prototypes as well, but there isn't very much information on the ponies and the images the users posted have since gone offline. 

I know this post isn't much help, but I'll keep my eyes out for anything else. Error ponies and variants fascinate me!

That's too funny nhal, I didn't even see that post! I was just looking at my g2s and wondering. I hope Sosilver does have the prototype.

So that's 3 so far? Keep them coming, I love reading about these. :-)

I saw that thread, but completely forgot about it.  I've been doing some research, but haven't turned up much else other than a thread or two on eye gem variations: http://www.mlparena.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=225188.html. I did find Spanish Seabreeze a while back: http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/G2_Seabreeze#Spanish_Seabreeze who I didn't include in my first post, because she's more of a Nirvana than a prototype or error. She's still interesting all the same, and quite pretty too.

Moonbreeze is a member here with a complete G2 collection and lots of photos on her website, I'm sure she wouldn't mind me promoting it. There is the oddball White Pearl variant, which I love because I found her on a market and she was previously undiscovered! I gave her to Moonbreeze as a gift because she's my best pony pal

Oh, Moonbreezes error and rare ponies make me always drool.

There arent that many factory errors/oddities i think, sadly. Or they havent been found yet.
If i remember right, there are only a hand full of that Sea Breeze with main and tail purple.
The same goes for the petites, blue haired Blue Pearl and blond haired White Pearl. 

That new thred, about red haired Petal Blossom.. omg, i think shes a prototype and awsome looking. Maby there are moar for us others then, hehehe.

I could not tell you anything about G2 ponies at all. I did not like them when I was a kid when they first came out. I think it was cause they went from being  nice and round to skinny

I wonder what g2 ponies looked like when just Kenner was developing them before Hasbro got a hold of them.

Yes I would agree that the link to Moonbreeze's page covers the main ones we know about especially the white and blue pearls. The prototype SoSilver posted about the other day is looking like another one we can add to the lost though.
