Pixie the Artist!

Pixie: She’s the artistic type; loves to paint and is very creative. Her nature is a little cheeky too - she loves to have fun and is a bit of a free spirit. Her symbol is a painter’s beret hat and a paintbrush.

I was thinking about how all the 7 Tales Ponies are earth ponies. So in creating an image of her, I wanted to think of an earth pose and colour that hadn’t yet been used in the Tales Series. I decided the Sitting (Bubbles) Pose would be cute, and made the pony blue with a white mane/tail.

The name ‘Pixie’ is not yet taken by another My Little Pony, and I thought it was rather cute and evoked a sense of mischievousness. It’s also a slight play on the words picture, and the more modern ‘pixel’ in digital art.

  Clarabelle:
Clarabelle grew up on a dairy farm outside of town. The dairy farm is where the sweet shop gets their milk for their yummy treats! On the farm she helps her family with many of the chores and takes pride in the family business.
She’s a very friendly pony. She’s very down to earth, girly, and cheerful.
     She is great friends with the “Tales Friends.” She enjoys many of the same bands as Melody and reads many of the same books as Brighteyes.  Clover, Patch, and Sweetheart enjoy coming out to the farm. She knows Starlight’s “secret” but is understanding and doesn’t tell the others. She taught Bonbon all her best pie recipes! Unlike her friends who, most of which want careers in entertainment that could take them far away from home, Clarabelle wants nothing more to keep working on the farm. She lives too far away for the school bus so her father drives her to school in the family pick-up truck. The town police chief is her uncle. He’s seen on the “Up, Up, and Away” episode.

Mine looks horrible.

This is Orange Hibiscus. He likes long walks on the beach and loves to surf! He is the 'hot sugar babe' to all of the mares and they all want to be with him. His cutie mark is a hibiscus flower. He has spiky hair and is supposedly the most radical pony in the universe. He was that 'I was once a lonely pony now I'm a star" ponies. :p

Till the announcing date Ill be working hard and hoping for the best (which would be a cute little white baby or a sweet candy pony ) but my luck always tend to be bad^^;
I do hope it wont be too hard to choose Hokus!

wow, I feel so not creative right now  not only did I not include a story, I just named my pony Hokuspokus, assuming that she's the undiscovered 8th after all

nevermind the wavy paper, it is caused by working with watercolour paint, and I didn't have time to press it after finishing. I haven't tried painting since I finished high school, it was so much fun to do now!

I love all these pictures. There is so much fun to each one. I really am glad I am not judging:P Marlin that is very crazy on how close our entries are......very crazy:) I had the same thought on making things more Tales like but I thought since the 8th Tale was not shown there had to be a mysterious something about the pony:P Yup over thinking a lot:)
