Arg... my local TRU never got the Collectors Set, and the other TRU in my state is a 4 hour drive from me. >.< Grrr Dragonflitter wants it...

The Favorites set has appeared in both Bangor and South Portland. Me and my Pony friends kept close tabs on both stores for a little while.

Bangor gets trucks on Thursdays, I think. I don't know about South Portland, though!

Great time to pick them up (they're still $40 at the TrU I go to), but you would have to go on the first day because you know half of the people who show up are going to be Ebay scalpers looking to grab all of the higher priced toys

  If I had the money I'd buy them for the sole purpose of reselling them at the same price to those who really want them.

No way! I stalked the So Po TRU for sooooooooo long trying to find the Collectors Set and Zecora, and never saw them! Thanks for the heads up, Bergamot! You're always my extra set of eyes when I can't go searching all the time.

I got mine last weekend for $39.99.  I had a coupon, so I picked it up for the girls for Christmas.

Do you still have the receipt Michelle? They will refund the difference within 30 days if you take it in next Sunday. - Then you can get $10 back to spend on more ponies.
