Ohh... how did you get such a light curl at the ends of her hair?

With my flatiron. Just take the hair in about half-way down and make a "munching" type motion with the flat-iron rotated about 45- to 90-degrees from how the hair enters the iron. I don't know how to describe it other than that. The hair falls out a little bit at a time and you get that curl. You also twist the iron at the ends. The more twist you have in the iron, the more dramatic the curl. You could always skip the "munching" and just pull through. I had it on its lowest setting, too. Let me know if that helps. I chopped less than an inch off of the front sections to make it more dramatic, too.

That's exactly how I curl my hair - the flat iron is the only thing that heats up high enough to get my ultra-straight hair to hold a curl, and it will stay curled for days if I do it like that.

raye:  Beautiful job on Spectra<3  She is a spitting image of her artwork!  I love it!  The thought crossed my mind to do something similar, but I could NEVER put shears to that long, soft hair.  Never ever!  You must have been sweating bullets!
