I went out (again) today, and found the Scaris girls at the Walmart at Adams and M-59. I don't know how far out that is for you, or if you've already got them, but there are plenty there. They also had the Siren and Harpy add on's. Still no sign of the ice/blob or mummy/gorgon girls, though we've GOT to be close...

Siren Cam (No Name)
OK, so heres the thing about her...Shes cute and all, but it bothers me to NO END that her face and hands/arms don't have a matching torso. I'm not entirely sure that I'm going to use her yet. I neeeeeed a matching torso! So for the time being, my "Siren" is going to be the Sea Monster CAM in the Siren tail. Here are pics of both...

Harpy Cam (Still thinking of a clever name...)
Even though shes got the CAM Vamp body, upper limbs, and hands... I LOVE THE WAY SHE CAME OUT! Most birds have feathers that start half way up their legs, so the mismatch of the thighs to the lower legs kind of mimics that, and she even has bird toes! And the wings look almost like they are arm warmers or something, they just work. I love the wig on her as well, however it needs a little more styling to cover the wig cap better across her forehead.

I have to agree completely with you! The turnoff for me about the cams are that they sell you incomplete dolls, to make Frankenstein dolls with mismatched parts. That just looks horrible! Even Frankie has a body all the same color! Also, the wig selection is so limited and of poor quality.

I really do like the siren mixed with the sea monster though. That is beautiful!

they are always going to look like someones..
2nd time someone has pointed out one of the dolls I have
looks too much like one of theirs..

A green doll will be a green doll, no matter the name it is given. It's silly to try for a unique identity for them unless you customize them. It just is impossible, because there are too many others exactly the same out there. Don't let it bother you. It's unavoidable. After all, they are mass produced. Just accept that they look alike and you will be much happier about it!

Those two have different hairstyles, outfits, and even lip colours though. That's a lot of differences between two of the same CAMs!

I think those yellow shoes look particularly awesome on her, Saji! I've never even seen them before

Sweetie, that's not what I meant, I'm just saying we have the same base doll, that's all I didn't mean to make you upset. I never said she looks too much like mine. That's why I made mine a Goblin, not a witch.

I don't like when people assume my words mean a completely different thing, that is not the reaction I was hoping for from you. Your doll is the same base, that's it, that's all. Don't assume things are bad just because people have similarities. In fact, the witchy sneer just made me want to change mine more. You do amazing mods. Whatever you come up with will be amazing.
