American Horror Story: Asylum - anyone watching??

Did anyone else not find the season finale last year really lame?  Not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but it felt rushed and kind of lost me. 

Not really lame, but definitely sappy and kind of out of line with the rest of the season, which is I guess why it was so jarring for me.  I still don't think I've completely come to terms with all that happened, lol!

In my head the end would have been the same with them all dieing together, but instead of scaring away prospective buyers the house would just continue to claim victims.  That is scary.

Or if it is going to be "happy", I would have liked them to be released from the house because the antichrist child is now born.  Kind of like the house drew people there to claim lives until the child could be born and once born the spell of the house was broken but now you have something worse in the world set free too.

I won't comment on the old season since I've not seen it, but is anyone else a little "blah" about some of this? I've found the show neat so far, but it's like so many different things crammed together.

A bit ot but the former season, how scary was it? I've not seen it and I'm curious to try it out but I don't do well with horror movies so I am questioning if I should see any of this show or not.

It was more disturbing than scary.  More psychological than BOO!

Ok.. I'm not good with disturbing.. I always find the pshycological horrors worse. Bleh, I so wanted to try this out, but I think I'm gonna pass on it for my minds sake. Thanks for the answer.

ERMAHGERD, who saw last night coming? As soon as Dr Thredson said something about wine I knew something freaky was up.  Does anyone else think he's going to make her write his story before he kills her?  And what was up with Anne Frank?!

We started getting a tiny bit skeptical of the Dr. once he became overly paranoid about the phone. It was really an interesting twist, since the wife and I were cheering on poor Lana to get away...whoops.

I might be wrong, but I simply took it going along the husband's story. The woman went into her fantasy world after having her baby, but from the pictures on the wall the Arden triggered something from what she studied since he was after all apparently there.

I know I'll never look at lampshades the same way again.

I wonder if the doctors are connected in some way? Because even if Thredson is the one skinning people, something crazy still happened to Grace, and Kit had the weird electronic bug in his neck. I know Nazi's did a lot of UFO related experiments, but I can't figure out how that would tie in with an American psychologist serial killer, lol.

Fun fact: You know this song they keep playing in the common room? Well it's french and rather old, about a religious man, his name is Dominique, the song was sung very innocently by a woman... where's the fun fact you ask? Well, the singer says "dominique, nique, nique (repeating the name's last syllab) s'en allai tout simplement..." thing is, that name's last syllab is french dirty slang for intercourse ... I wonder if the show makes knew this. I hope yes!
