I did not like them when I was a kid and they started to come out. I still remember going to wal mart to see what new ponies they had. And these were starting to take over the shelves   But I do like to look at them now

I didn't like them either when i was young. I grew up with both G1 & 2, i remember hating the new, 'weird looking' ponies.
I still bought them (uhm, my mom did hihi) because there was no better alternative

Funny thing is, this is the exact thing that happened to me, but G2 were the ponies I loved and I was devastated when those big ponies that couldn't turn their heads replaced them...

G2 didnt have any pegasus...just the unicorns which came with detachable wings

And her back card has art! These Pegasus wings look most like Flutter Pony wings. The G2 body style sorta does too!

They had wings indeed with them, but none had wings attached to the body, i cant really call them pegasuses either, but close enough.
 Besides Princess Twinkle Star, there were the Copper- Golden- Diamond- and Silver Glow ponies and few more.

Yes there are quite a few ponies with detachable wings in G2 as I mentioned and your link shows one of them

Yup Thats the one lalalei2001 linked to above...but as I said I dont really consider her a pegasus although others may well do so.

Many consider her a pegasus and other do not because she's not in a mold with wings, Hasbro made clip-on wings which little girls could use in their hair. I consider her a pegasus anyway cause she is pictured with her wings, making them her wings, and therefore a pegasus .

Some of these G2s are so pretty. I wish they were not so darn pricey! I have a few MOC that I may try to take pics of in the near future.

Haha, i do consider few G2's with flying magic, based on theyre symbol. That way we had flying ponies in our plays. I really wish theyd made a mold with wings tough

Maybe Hasbro learned from the Flutter Pony wings breaking and made ones that clip off and back on
