Want to join a 10 customs in 30 days challenge?

i would say all the customs in one thread, so we can see that they are part of the same challenge, i would join but i have too much work already i´m working in 15 customs, but some need sculpt and three need to be started from scratch
anyway i will love to see the massive results

Okay, then.  Out of those interested so far, are any of you also planning on doing NaNoWriMo this year?  And if you are, do you think that participating in a pony challenge on top of the writing challenge would be too much for the month of November?  I'm planning on NaNoing, but I *think* I can also manage the ponies, especially at the rate of one every three days.  As long as there are no hang-ups with the possibility of two insane challenges in one month...

Would starting up on November 1st sound good to those interested?  That would allow us to start soon, but also give ample time for any supplies that had to be ordered to arrive (under normal circumstances).

And Salli!  I love your banner idea!  I am 99% computer illiterate, so I'd have to rely on someone with that kind of talent to make one

*thinks of the customs she has awaiting completion* I think I could do a 10 customs in 30 days challenge. Not sure if I'd want it to wait until after my upcoming conventio or not, but I do need to finish ponies for it and it would cover that also.

I think it would be most helpful for interested parties to suggest start times, so it would work for the most people.  I only suggested November 1st, because it would just be for the month of November that we were working.  Of course, we could just as easily do something like "the 20th to the 20th" or something like that and it would still be a month.  I, personally, think it would work best to do the kick-off for this sometime in a couple of weeks, so that those that were wanting to complete the challenge would have time to order hair or Apoxie Sculpt or whatever else that they might need to finish their customs.  Of course, if you're like me, there will be *something* you can work on, regardless to your current hair stash... (literally just lined up all of my WIPS and have 44 ponies on my desk...  I still don't know why I do this to myself, lol!)

Since there's actually takers on this idea, should I make a new post titled something more appropriate for gathering whoever else might be interested so we can talk about the nitty gritty like time frame?  I'm starting to wander towards grounds I've never been on before - am I supposed to be asking mods/admins about an unofficial event like this? (I think I read somewhere that swaps need to be cleared by them - would this be the same?)  I also don't want to make another post about this if things can just be hammered out here - BUT I think that more people would "hear" about it if there was a more appropriately titled post.

This is what I would do. And I don't think it needs mod approval, we aren't really doing anything besides giving eachother moral support. I agree that changing the title would be nice. I'm open to any time frame. Just let me know. I can make banners (I don't like the one I made though, but it's a start).

No way I could do 30 in 30 days..or 10 in 30. I just don't have enough supplies and I have no job, so getting supplies is a no go for me. :/

On a positive note, I'd have plenty of time to work on a pony since I'm jobless, but job hunting is a FT job itself. >.<

I printed out inspiration pics for my customs already and after counting them noticed there is 15 ideas I really want to make, not just 10. It will be hard deciding which ones I make and which ones not
