I had to choose other....I identify with MLP being all about friendship and telling them to get the **** out of there but I wouldn't need to call security.

Are these people inside the convention or outside?

If they are outside I would more than likely notify security for safety but other than that they probably have the right to be outside and run they're mouth as long as they are not physically harming anyone.

If the people are inside the con and they've paid to come inside then the person/persons running the convention have the right to get security and kick them out if they are causing problems.

It's that simple.

If I were in this situation... I wouldn't approach them directly, but while walking by them I'd say something to my friends VERY loudly so they could obviously hear about how sad it is that people waste their time making fun of things they don't like when they could be using their precious life for things they enjoy instead.

I'd probably ignore them.  I'm not to good at any kind of confrontation and it wouldn't cross my mind to alert security.

I went with "Other" for this poll. If they were being obvious and loud about it, I'd walk up to them and tell them that if they have a problem with me and all other fans of MLP, they're free to say it to my face. If they're being quiet about it, I'll probably go up to them and invite them in. You catch more flies with honey, after all!

The first one 'if you don't like it just leave'. Basically they are dissing MLP fans at our convention so they shouldn't really be there.

I'm a loud person and sometimes I can get rather defensive and angry right quick, so I answered "Walk up to them and get all defensive and saying something like. "My Little Pony is all about love and friendship, which this world needs! Don't like it? Get the **** out of here or I'll get security!""

Though to be honest I wouldn't even bring up the security thing. I would use a whole rainbow of vocabulary on them and tell them to gtfo. If any one of them started to yell at me to my face I would probably punch them right in the mouth. I'm not exactly the best person to represent fandoms in situations like these  usually I'll try to be calm about it and respond in a mature fashion but when people are being that stupid, it's hard for me not to try killing someone. Not literally, of course!
