Bright Wave is a commission for the lovely Lilacamy
she is of course a merpony.
I removed her back legs and sculpted her a tail out of apoxie clay, her fins are made from printed acetate with wire and fantasy film.
her clay tail is painted in blue and green metallic paints and crystals have been added with a few tiny bubble beads.
She was re-rooted in orange and blue/turquoise.
Her eyes were painted in shades of blue and varnished for protection

:dropjaw: Well I must say Lilacamy has excellent taste because this is just the most perfect merpony ever and would fit right in with my collection :heart:

eta: Because I can't stop staring at her :P I love the crystal necklace she has, and all the crystals really. They add such a delicate sparkle and so much detail without being too much. They really do look like water droplets. Brilliant work, Laura. One of my favorites of yours for sure!
