How do you display your girls?

Alright, so I've been having issues about where/how to keep my dolls (I have a lot). For a while, they were chilling on my mom's never used piano, but clumsy boys kept knocking them down. So I moved them onto the also never used table in the same room. Then I started working on a cloak, and need the table for space.  I'm thinking of grabbing some shelves to put them on, but having them out if hand's reach for when I want to fiddle with them would frustrate me.
How do you guys set up your girls? I'm looking for ideas/inspiration to figure out a place for all of mine. And I have a lot.

On the table, and before I snagged Little Dead Riding Wolf, who is sooo pretty.

Mine are taking up a couple slots in my EXPEDIT bookcase from IKEA. They are within arms reach, but the bookcase is tall and deep, so you can put them higher and a tad further back, or put them lower and have them pushed back into the cubby so people don't inadvertently knock them over. Ones without stands can sit on top.

That is cool, though there's nothing IKEA out here in Vegas. Which is weird, because I keep seeing commercials for them.

They are within arms reach, but the bookcase is tall and deep, so you can put them higher and a tad further back, or put them lower and have them pushed back into the cubby so people don't inadvertently knock them over. Ones without stands can sit on top.

My monsters are in a similar bookcase from IKEA, only it's stained a darker color. My monsters take up about five cubby holes, and a few are on the top of it as well. The rest I display on the mantle of my bedroom fireplace, and the lesser loved ones take up a box in the closet...

I don't have mine displayed at the moment (no space where cats can't get them), but what about checking for a bookcase at Walmart or Target? I saw a bookshelf at Walmart the other day that looked like it'd fit dolls nicely. Not sure on the price, though; I just kinda glanced at it.

Mine are in a display cabinet with lighting. I have two matching teak cabinets, I paid £8 for one with working lighting and the other was free with working lighting

Mine are sitting on a bookshelf. I don't like using the stands.

Mine are just chilling on top of my work desk. There's a shelf up there that's supposed to be for a printer or something, I think.

Mine are crowded into a shadowbox that the keep falling out of cuz there are too many! I am going to clear off a shelf and turn it into a cafe and have them posed like they are hanging out there

Mine are all standing on some risers on my dresser. I'm actually out of room there, so if I want more dolls, I'm going to have to find another spot for them. The way they're standing on the risers makes them look like they're posing for a yearbook picture.

My actual bookcase is black. ^_^ I have that one as well as a 6' x 6' one in black, too. They're amazing for displaying collections. Don't know how I lived without them all this time!

They do shipping, but you might be able to find something elsewhere that is similar. I don't know how much the shipping would cost, though. I am surprised you don't have a store nearby! Walmart sells some taller bookcases, too. You can't take them with you if you move to a new house, but they do the job otherwise and are in the price range of about $30.

I have all of mine on a card table that I was using as my dining room table. Now it houses all my dolls

I WANT THAT BOOKCASE!! But the money I would spend on it I could use for more MH Dolls. >,>; What a predicament. So for now, in the closet they stay, hidden from family eyes. +,+;

I have mine set up on the top of a bookshelf.  I have furniture for them that makes it look like someone's basement hangout spot.  But I don't have near as many as you do, maybe a quarter
