So essentially you are wanting to leave a negative because she offered you a 100% refund and because you don't want to return it...she deserves a negative?  That is not how feedback should be left.  Had she not been willing to give you a refund and ignored this whole thing (which she didn't) then she would have deserved a negative.  This however is not the case. She has addressed  you and offered 100% of your money back and still you will leave a negative.  This is not appropriate in my opinion and I hope you change your mind about that.

Closet you know what to do should this happen.

As a member here I don't really like what has happened here at all. I know its not my problem but when a seller offers a refund and you don't take it...that is not reason to leave a negative.     You only leave a negative when you were offered no refund, no communication was given and ebay had to close a case for you.

So, thier effort to extort a partial has failed and now they left me neg feedback. I would advise everyone to be cautious when dealing with them.

I couldn't agree more.  This was totally unacceptable.  What has been done here will really hurt her status on ebay and she didn't deserve that, but the feedback you left will make it very clear to ebay what you were up to and I feel this needs to be brought to their attention.  I can't believe I have witnessed this on the Arena.  Its really disturbing.

I'm just so confused about the whole thing. I can't understand why he would want to keep it if it were so deplorable. He could return it and buy another one with the refund? Sometimes I will offer partials if I feel I've made a mistake, but I know this one was awesome. My jaw was on the floor when I found it sitting on the shelf, that I looked at it for an hour, lol and nothing was wrong with it. I know a lot of new toys have strange factory smells, which isn't my fault. I was suspicious from the begining but even then I was still willing to accept a refund. I guess you can't please everyone.

Well he wants to keep it because he wants it. It can't be that bad. He wants it and its very clear he wants it for a less price as he feels he deserves that.  Fact is its not bad enough to him to return it...so really how bad was it then? Can't be that bad.

and my feedback reflects my side of the story !!

I do not think the seller acted to the standards at all that we deserve as buyers !
If it was about the money I would have never spent it at all to begin with and I would have continued with the case .
It is my last word on the matter
thank you all for your opinions and posts.

Feedback should be honest and to leave a negative when a refund was offered is not honest.

A return is not an option for me, this is a  very hard to find item ,i want to keep it even if it was not new  as stated and i had to clean it and it has a smell ,it is still the item i wanted ,I hope you can understand where there is no way I want to return it. I believe i was honest on my feedback and i respect the opinions of everyone if they think otherwise .
I will Have to debox it as well wich is was not my intention.
is this fair ?
I think is not

Well, I talked to Ebay and they have reported it as feedback abuse and are probably going to remove it.

MLP collectors have, for many decades, had to put up with sometimes glaring and obvious factory flaws.  Misprinted painting, hair loops and snags, tape residue, marks, stains, and odd smells are just a short list of examples.  This really has only gotten worse in the following generations.  G3s have terrible paint sometimes, nicks in them, embedded bits of other plastics, glue in tails that was quite sharp and poky, amongst other things.  Most of the G4s have serious issues right out of the box... I am sorry to hear that the buyer is unhappy with the condition of their received item.

However, if said purchase was from a MIB status, the seller should not be held responsible for MIB factory flaws, including chemical smells.  Those happen in transit from the factories in China sometimes even... If you want to return it, you return it, but you don't take it out of the box and clean it up and demand your money back.   :(  I hope both parties can come to a resolution with this one...

Many of my styling ponies had to be cleaned after I deboxed them to remove residue and some marks.

Sadly Hasbro's items are not always mint in their packages, as we feel they should be. :(

This is so true.  I got one in the mail just the other day for someone else and I had to spend time with a magic eraser because it was dirty brand new.  I don't know why they have had such problems with the G4 line....I only buy the blind bags now.

I assure this was not the case , and now she is giving me bad feedback here accusing me of trying to  exhort  her , I read on here she needed the money and closed my case for her to keep the money, but this is how she goes about, sometimes people are just this way ,live and learn
thanks everyone

I viable solution was offered to you, but you chose not to take it. Sellers are not required to give partial refunds, however you chose to attempt to extort it. You really need to familiarize yourself with the way Ebay works. You deserve the neg feedback.

and right back at you , neg feedback posted on yours as well, Dirty is dirty here and everywhere ,you need to disclose any problems with your items ,like everyone else does in ebay , buyers should not be asking you for more pics if you post them in advance,it is basic courtesy to send something clean and smell free when someone is buying from you.
