China vs Hong Kong Daddy Apple Delight?

I'm in the process of sorting through my collection with the aim of getting rid of doubles etc.

When I got to comparing my two Daddy Apple Delights, I saw one is made in Hong Kong and the other in China... but then I realised that one of them is significantly larger than the other. One's the same size as my big brothers but the other is smaller.

 

Please could you tell me, is this a normal difference between HK and China daddies? And is there a difference in value between the two?

I've heard of slight size differences between ponies from the two countries, but I never imagined it to be that much!

Wow, that's strange :O the difference is pretty big, I don't think I´ve seen that before

There is not really a difference in value between the 2 of them

It's not uncommon to find subtle differences, but the size difference between them is more than the size difference between my 2 Tux n Tails!

So there is usually some difference... I always thought the only same-mold-different-size ponies were the Italian collectors pose ponies. I'm not sure whether to just keep both of them now.

As OL1 says there is no difference in value in them.

Its standard for the China and HK versions of the same pony to have minor differences - body colour, eye colour, symbol colour. They do also vary slightly in finished pose and sometimes in size - partly the size can sometimes be explained by the different plastic mould process.

I think I will hang onto them both for now. I have plenty of other ponies I need to sell first.
