What is going on with the Fashion Style prices?!

Hasbro confirmed a re-release and we have already had at least Rarity confirmed for 100% - these moulds are big and expensive for them only to get the one single run and we know currently Hasbro loves lots of the main 6 all the time. I am sure the others are soon to follow in 2013.

That's awesome news! Is there a place where I can read up on the Hasbro confirmed rerelease? The only FS I'm missing is AJ.

Pinkie Pie, Wedding Celestia, and Rarity are being re-released together this winter. They've been keeping different ones in circulation with every new line, and so far AJ is the only one not re-released yet. So hopefully the next line, with season 3 finale toys, she'll hopefully be around again.

Hasbro confirmed at the toy fair that the FS ponies would be released again. We have already seen confirmation of the next wave which includes Celestia, Pinkie and Rarity. Who is going to be in the next wave we do not as yet know but AJ, Dash, Twilight and FS will be back out again at some point. The toy release year is only a few months in we still have another 8 months or so to go.

I only ever see FS Fluttershy and Pinkie around my area.  I bought AJ, Rarity and Dash for my daughters last Christmas.  Thank goodness I did, otherwise I could never afford them!

Well, I'm pretty sure FS AJ would be coming back in a wave in the near future. Hasbro Malaysia said that they're trying to get AJ into a wave sooner after my aunt to them that FS AJ was pretty much nonexistent in Malaysia.

Although, I got my FS AJ off eBay pretty early on, before the price started spiraling upwards.

Toy releases straddle years - so this year is currently 2012/2013 - the year traditionally starts in July/August with the bulk of new releases normally in the initial 8-10 months. Thats the traditional pattern - due to some retailers things can be a little fluid on exact dates.

the hard one is AJ..actualy read impossible....next up is rarity..shes pretty well off the shelves unless your insanly lucky to find her..i know i picked up the last one in teh pacific nw for a friend...the rest..i can pretty much go anywhere and find them on the shelf..just gotta know where to look

Yeah, AJ has been pretty steep.  Both her and Rarity were released in the first wave.  That's probably why newer collector's are trying seek them out now.


I've also noticed that FS prices are going up in price at stores too.  Didn't they used to be $14 or $15 when the first FS wave came out?  Now they are like $17 and even higher in some stores!  Rrrrr!

I am so glad I kept an eye out for AJ. Found her at Wal-Mart early last year when I hadn't seen her for months. The only Fashion Style I'm missing in Pinkie Pie, and she seems to be readily available.

I've seen some FS at our Kmart, but here prices are kind of high so I don't generally buy G4 ponies. FS ponies are $20 and brushables are $9.70. I saw a FS Rarity and Fluttershy not too long ago. They might still be there but I don't know if people would want to pay $20+ for them plus shipping.

Most of them are no longer available, so their prices sky rocketed with new collectors looking for them.

How tough they were to find depends on location... we had a bunch of FS RDs here but limited on some of the others

Are you kidding? I have tons of Rainbow Dash FS on clearance here in Singapore.
