crumpet you dont have to have a bank account to use paypal.  i  dont have one.. lol  you can get paypal to issue you a check and then go get it  cashed (which is what i do) and i ahve a prepaid debit card..  if this helps any.

I have tons of MiB G3s that I've been trying to sell for less than what I bought them for (most are $7, and they were 7.99 plus tax).  I do occasionally sell a few here and there, but it makes me sad that they're not even worth what I paid for them.  I've never sold a loose one for more than $3, and that's in mint condition, with charm.

Part of the problem with buying, for me, is that I bought most of the ones I wanted.  I don't care about the same characters in new poses, like getting all 20 Mintys.  My want list is now pretty short and HTF.  And, I do love my G1s the most, so those are my priority right now.

Does anypony think we should just hold on to all our G3s... and their value will go up in 10 years?

I think prices over all will go up, but as Marigold said, it will fluctuated according to how common a particular pony is.  I also think that they will never go as high as a comparable G1 simply because there were way fewer adult collectors during the G1 era.  Thus G1s are in general going to be more rare than G3 since everyone who was already collecting during the G3 run went out and bought what they wanted when they were in stores.  But I do believe that in another 5-10 years they will be worth more than they are now.

I have been able to sell many ponies for $5 or more, but it depends on the pony. Many are $3, but there are just as many over that. I seem to find cheerilee sells like a hot cake, so does rainbowdash. It just depends on their condition and which pony you have.

I don't collect G3's for a few reasons, mostly that they're too big for what I prefer, and because there are practically NO unicorns and I'm not a huge fan of the few ones there are. This makes me a very, very, very sad pony collector.  I adore the G3 babies because they're so much tinier and there's not as much of them, so I do collect them, but once again, there are NO G3 baby unicorns! I couldn't believe it

I found a lot of the G3 and G3.5 playsets today and bought them because I have an addiction and can't let pony merchandise sit on thrift store shelves. Only problem is, I don't actually want them. I'd like to find good homes for them though.

Oh I love g3s and buy them off here all the time even with high international shipping. Having brought some job lots of trademe/ ebay and getting many in shocking condition I have decided I would rather spend a couple bucks more to get nice ones from collectors cause at least there condition is explained.
But it is true they dont sell for much.. well the common ones that is.

No one has Rainbow Dash?  I thought she was super common! I even have one for sale myself (not that I'm pimping my sales or anything as I'm sure that's not allowed)

I like g3s just fine and I have a decent (but rarely displayed) collection of them.  As a buyer, I have a select few on my want list (birth flowers, Silver Rain and a few others) but I find them so often while thrifting that I often just hold out in the hopes I'll find the ones I want at the thift store. 

As a seller, it seems buyers come in waves but my g3s, with some exceptions, never sell for more than $5/each.  But I still like picking them up (unless they're super common) and cleaning them up and hopefully finding them a new home.

i do. i like the g3s. i used to have a lot, then started selling them to make some money, but now i want some back. there are still some out there i want to add to my collection, just the ones i really like and interest me. i dont need every g3.
