Okay so that's two who have dyed the glowing dollyhair with success and one who has not?  I guess it doesn't matter as she has been out of stock for quite some time...

I checked out hair extensions as a possibility- they all seem to be really expensive and include a very small small amount of hair...

I want hair like this:

I dyed a Moondreamer doll's hair once purple using rit dye- and it actually didn't glow at all after being dyed.  I wonder what kind of doll hair Hasbro used on the Moondreamers in 86?

I actually found this manufacturer  that appears to sell various colors of glow in the dark doll hair- but it appears to be a commercial site.  I wonder if Retrodolls or Dollyhair could order from them? I bet colored doll hair would sell like hotcakes...http://www.asahi-kasei.co.jp/sarannet/en/app_dollhair.html

After actually reading the site- I think I know why some hair glows and some does not- I think it depends on how dark the hair is?  Looks like the darker the colors- the less that light is able to be reflected:

I've been eyeing their site for awhile- we're looking into it ;)

i rehaired zecora in ice blue glow. i couldn't figure out the neck plug so it's tail is a monster high orange glowing "laser" (cat tail) with a blue glow in the dark wall star on the end.

my rehaired zecora took two clips of the ice blue glow, and would have taken one more, but i used a halloween wig (glow white) for the rest. since the site sends 4 clips (2 per package) then one order will rehair the mane and probably tail of a G4. the hair does not glow green, it glows ice blue like an "indiglo" watch so it looks great on things that glow green like zecora or a glow and show. it is bright enough to be mixed with a pony's mane and be quite noticeable, especially a light blue mane in order to reflect its light. not as bright as dollyhair's nylon green glow, but brighter than a Moondreamer by FAR, and brighter than a halloween glow in the dark wig.

I once had light green/yellowish GITD hair and I know where to find other colors, thing is, they will all glow the same yellow/green color.

I tried my best to get small quantities of GITD hair that would glow blue but with no success :(

I bought this glow in the dark wig on ebay-

It came recently- it is decent quality for what I paid, but what glows is the white streaks- the pink glows only very very faintly.  I suspect it was dyed-
