I got the mechanism out! And the little plastic bead that you have to brake off the get her head off with out having to cut into her neck socket!

She needs a whole new tail since there is only a little left of her original tail. I took pics of evything, but photobucket is being evil right now! Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to post pics.

Argh! It sounds like quite the mission!!

Yup - I know people match up to pussycat but I think thats too bright so something a shade or two lighter would be lovely!

Her stripe is supposed to be pink not white Its that good old fading pink!

Are you certain?  The only picture I ever found with her with a pink stripe was one that the owner had dyed.   

I'm positive mine's stripe was originally white.  It's too bright a white to be faded pink especially considering all the others I have from that set still have bright pink stripes and would have been exposed to the exact same conditions since they were all childhood ponies.  (In fact, all of my fading pink ponies still have pink to their hair - most still very bright.)  Also, I never liked the pink and orange stripes together on Bouquet and would have remembered if Twisty Tail had the same colors.

Yes that is correct color is pink. You can read that information here for reference.  The UK version was exactly the same...light pink.

I had seen a couple of sites list it as pink which is why I had been searching for pictures to prove it since I was certain mine had always been white, but I was only ever able to find the one that had been "repinked."

Thanks for the info, I never remembered Twisty have pink hair, of course I don't remember her having a tail ether! When I looked at what's left of her tail the stripe is white.

I found a picture of her on a backcard and her stripe looks white to me.

Nope my bad...I was thinking of Ringlets and not Twisty Tail...and I have TT MIB as well lol you would think I would remember which of them had the fading pink strand

I checked her this morning and the white is virgin snow - more like Nightglider than the off white of Minty

I went with Marshmallow in the end I didn't see this post until now Oh well since my TT is played with and not MIB her white hair is isn't as white as it should be.
