Finch Talk: Anyone Here Keep Finches in a Mixed Group?

I used to have a healthy thriving group of zebra finches as a kid. I miss having their beautiful little songs in my home. I have been considering getting a really nice indoor aviary/flight cage for a mixed species group. I love the green twinspots, but they are way too delicate for me right now. I have narrowed it down to 5 types: Zebras, Spice, Gouldian, Societies, and Bicheno (Owl) Finches. Haven't quite made up my mind. I'm curious as to who has experience with keeping mixed groups, what specie go well together/who doesn't/can't be mixed. I am very partial to the zebras, but I have heard that they don't do well with owls... Does anyone here keep finches, possibly a mixed flock? Educate me on your experiences with these different birds please

I love finches! They are adorable! I've never kept any though.

I've never been a finch keeper either, but I'll give this a bump for advice.

We've only ever had zebras. I'm not sure how they work in mixed groups, or what they work well with.

I agree they are very cute birds, and I like their song too. Most everyone thinks they are annoying, but I think they are cute!

Ive been around the zebras..I guess ive learnt to focus on other things when they sing or chirp because I dont find it annoying^^

Zebras and Society Finch can be housed together, actually, Society will actually adopt abandoned/orphaned finches of other finches too.
Societies aren't as colorful but they are pretty nice if you like shades of brown and white birds. I wouldn't know what other finch can be housed together.
