After ANTM I have fallen in love with CAMs now; especially Bee, Skeleton, Witch, Sea Monster
Though how hard are they to reroot? Because LIV wigs aren't available in Sweden and I dislike the CAM wigs

I believe it depends on whether the cap in their heads is hard or soft, and only the first few that were made have soft ones, so for the most part, it's pretty hard because you need to either replace the cap or find a way of punching holes in it.

Also, I saw that Mattel Shop now has free shipping on MH stuff, so is there maybe a fellow US Arena Member that would help me buy the CAM torsos, and maybe the Skeleton or Bee Add-on?

When the time comes I'm going to try out one of those miniature hand drills used in hobby crafts and see how that goes. I'll post my results once it's done, but I'm almost certain someone else has done this successfully before - maybe on flickr.

Good news! I got a response from Jemgirl on etsy overnight. She has offered to replace or refund. I was told on FB that if you heat up the resin shoes in hot water, it softens them up and then you can put them on without cracking, so I asked if she could replace with the exact ones, otherwise I'll just take a refund.

Yes. I feel better now, after having had several reports about her being uncommunicative.

Since the pearl shoes I got from her didn't crack (the right one was just too small to fit on and left gouge marks), I'm going to test out the hot water method with them. Supposedly the idea is that the hot water softens up the resin and then you can slip the shoe on without cracking and then if you leave it on, it will conform to the shape of the foot as it cools.

Also my DT Lagoona says "Expected Delivery By: October 9, 2012" from only a few states away ..This is one of those times where I REEEEEALLY hope the date is wrong.
If all things go well she'll be here Friday, but.. You never know with the postal service.

Yes, I really like them too. They were meant to be my witch's ruby slippers. You can imagine my dismay when the left one cracked as soon as I put it on her foot.

I don't know. I don't think so. I think the idea is that if you leave them on the foot as they cool down, they retain the shape of the foot rather than the mold or whatever so they'll fit better. I haven't tried yet. I will report when I do so.

whoo! excitement and also good news for other US members. I was at Dollar General tonight picking up a few things and I always check the toy section to see if there're any cheap toys i can use for this or that...and I almost missed them....but they had DT2 dolls! I got Abbey. I'd seen on lj reports of them being found but those rumors have been false before so I really didn't expect to find anything MH but I did! One more off my list ^_^ So if you have a DG in your area, check it out
