$600 for a G1 Applejack? Bwahahahahaha! She's got her accessories, but even so. And the seller gives this sob story about how he has 7 kids to send to school and really needs the $$. No kidding! What is up with this? Is it because G4 AJ is so popular? I just don't get it!

I'm all for making a little money but sometimes I think people way over price things or expect others to be willing to pay a lot for certain ponies and other items as well. Whoever they are hope they are successful at getting some money if they really need some.

LOL, I did think of making a real offer but I think the seller would be insulted. *sigh* I understand really needing some $$$ but at this rate nothing's gonna sell. Seller would have much better luck reasonably pricing those ponies.

Ridiculous. There is another Ebay seller with a MOC G1 Applejack for sale on Ebay right now at a fraction of the price. Maybe we should all email links of that sale to this crazy seller to knock some sense into her.

And the sob story is overkill. Seven kids needing private school? Uh huh. Just send your kids to public school already!

Ebay sales should not be fundraising - I honestly don't want to know what you're spending the money on.   

I am sure the seller is just hopping on the bandwagon of "popular vintage toys" and hoping someone will buy it without doing their research.

Alas people can set their prices as they wish - its so silly as a little bit of research would have got her a good starting price for her ponies and then they would sell and she would make some money, rather than them sitting for ages and simply not selling and making no money.

Oh, I'd seen those MOCs!  I'm sufficiently new to the collecting scene that I was wondering if they were really worth those prices... but sufficiently lower-middle-class that I didn't even consider it.
