I'm tempted to message the seller to tell them what the pony is really worth but I'm worried that they'll have a hissy fit at me. 

Sometimes its better simply not to engage I have found . They will soon find out what its worth when it simply never sells!

I really hate it when people put rare or hot or scarce in the titles of their auctions, it's a total waste because first of all, they're not collectors and haven't got the first clue what is rare, or it's like they're trying trick us into thinking it's rare as if we're not familiar with the things we collect, second a title is where you want to put words people will search for so they will find your auction, "rare" is in dang near all the titles so no one is going to search for that! Another irritating thing is when they put the name of a HTF pony in the title when that pony is not included in the auction, that just plain makes me mad!
 Sorry, for the mini rant, this is just one of my little pet peeves!

I have found the only reason they put Rare, HTF ect in the title is to increase the amount of times the item shows up in a search.
Another method I have seen a lot is putting HTF or highly desired character names in the front of the auction listing. That way if someone is looking for a particular pony, the item shows up regardless of having nothing to do with it.
