My Freya got here today and I am really disappointed and upset. Did no one try to take off the head cap, put in eyes, etc before they decided to produce her?Of course her head cap was insanely tight and took forever (and ruined my nails >.<) to get off. The eye holding thing is a nightmare, and it would've been easier to just use putty. I sanded down the long pegs so it would be easier to get her head off again, but surprise! The two pegs at the bottom do not line up with their holes at ALL. And if I manage to get the tiny bottom pegs in, they pop out almost immediately so the other pegs will fit.
Ditto! It seems pretty intimidating, but just taking my time has proven this to be much easier than initially thought! I'm already doing some budgeting so I can order her some sisters! I just finished her second layer of blushing...visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy Freya's faceup by Cate_Dartfinger, on Flickr
