Aww, Duchess looks lovely!

I'd better dig out the camera and take some pictures of my girls, now that they've got some clothes...

I just ordered myself a white Freya! I'm so pumped for her to get here, as shes my first official BJD, (aside from the MH's) Shes SO adorable! Anyone have any recommendations on where or who to get eyes from?

I bought mine from Junky Spot when I ordered the doll.  I actually ordered two pairs when I ordered my white kitty, so I had a set all ready to use on Christmas morning when I opened up the dark gray kitty.

Speaking of new kitties.... I've got my gray sitting next to my white right now, and the difference between the two - one with a face up, one without - is amazing.  I need to pick up some eyelashes today and get started on her this weekend.

I finally got around to doing the faceup on my Christmas Freya

I figured that now was the time to do it, before I get the materials to make her wig next week sometime.  She got her face done, some eyelashes, and a very subtle body blushing.  In the process of this, I discovered that she has two left feet.  No, seriously, when she was strung, they used two left feet on her.  She doesn't have a name as of yet, but I'm leaning towards Mayfair.

OMG. I love her!!! Now I'm going to have to get both of the grays. I never even wanted an anthro until I saw these dolls!

I've got the dark gray and the white, but I'm not sure if I'll spring for the light gray.  I think I'll hold out for a boy kitty.

I know nothing about "face ups" or eyes or anything like that...

Neither do I!  I just stuck her eyes in and played with chalk and a paintbrush.

Ditto! It seems pretty intimidating, but just taking my time has proven this to be much easier than initially thought! I'm already doing some budgeting so I can order her some sisters!  >_<

I just finished her second layer of blushing...

if all things work out ill be getting one for a late Christmas gift from a friend - made him a deal that if he bought me the doll then id buy the eyes and outfit for her - he said he thought that was fair so I'm getting her - I just have to wait till he pays off some of his credit card - hes got a pretty big bill from Christmas - lol - so once I get her I'll post lots of pictures ^_^

My Freya got here today and I am really disappointed and upset. Did no one try to take off the head cap, put in eyes, etc before they decided to produce her?

Of course her head cap was insanely tight and took forever (and ruined my nails >.<) to get off. The eye holding thing is a nightmare, and it would've been easier to just use putty. I sanded down the long pegs so it would be easier to get her head off again, but surprise! The two pegs at the bottom do not line up with their holes at ALL. And if I manage to get the tiny bottom pegs in, they pop out almost immediately so the other pegs will fit.

I had plans to buy another Freya so I'm very glad I didn't yet. Never again. Her body is great but her head must have been designed by a three year old. I'm so close to giving up and just putting her up for sale right now.
